CRISPY PEANUTS 

1. PEANUT SWEET BALLS (MUNGFALI LADOOS)

INGREDIENTS

  • Peanut (Mungfali) powder – 3 cups
  • Jaggery (Gud) – 2 cups
  • Ghee – 2 to 3 tablespoon (optional)

MAKING TIME : 10 MINUTES

QUANTITY : 6 TO 7 BALLS (LOADDOOS)

PROCEDURE

Take a pan or a kadhai and put on the gas on low flame. Put all the peanuts and roast it on low flame for 5 to 7 minutes continuously.

After peanuts becomes golden brown in color or crispy, turn off the gas.

 Let the peanuts get cool.

When the peanuts get cooled, take off the cover of peanuts by rubbing on hands and then clean it.

Now grind all the peanuts into a mixer and make a fine powder of it. Take out this powder from mixer jar into a bowl.

Add grated jaggery into the peanut powder. Mix both jaggery and peanut powder well by hands so that the mixture becomes easy to make the balls (laddoos). You can add ghee into this mixture while making the balls but adding ghee is totally optional.

Now take some mixture on our palm and try to make a round shape of mixture so that it looks like a ball(laddoo).

Like this make all the mixture into the ball shapes(laddoos).

Here your sweet peanut balls(laddoos) are ready to eat.

You can eat and enjoy these balls (laddoos) at any time.

Also you can eat these peanuts balls (laddoos) during the fast days(upwas).

2. SPICY AND CRISPY PEANUTS

INGREDIENTS

  • Peanuts (mungfalli) – 50 grams
  • Chili powder (lal mirch) – 1 tablespoon
  • Powdered sugar – 1/2 tablespoon
  • Cumin seeds (jeera) – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt (namak) – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Refined oil (khane ka tel) – 1 tablespoon

RECIPE TIME : 10 MINUTES

SERVED QUANTITY: 4 PERSONS

PROCEDURE

Put a pan or a kadhai on the gas. Pour oil into the pan. After oil gets hot then add cumin seeds.

When cumin seeds pops, add all peanuts in to the pan. Now roast the peanuts on low gas flame for 7 to 8 minutes. After peanuts gets golden brown in color, turn off the gas.

Now add salt, powdered sugar and chili powder into the pan over all peanuts.

Mix it well so that chili powder, salt and powdered sugar gets mix with all the peanuts.

Now take out all the peanuts from the pan into a bowl or a plate.

 Here your spicy, crispy peanuts are ready to eat.

You can eat these crunchy, tasty peanuts at any time and also during the fast days(upwas).
