BREAKFAST DISH CHURMA RECIPE FROM LEFT OVER CHAPATIS
Here you will learn breakfast dish churma recipe from left over chapatis.
INGREDIENTS
- Chapatis / rotis – 5 to 6
- Chopped Onions – 2
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Sugar – 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder – 1 tablespoon
- Peanuts – 10 to 12
- Coriander leaves – as per requirement
- Curry leaves – 7 to 8
- Refined oil – 3 tablespoon
- Mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
COOKING TIME - 10 TO 15 MINUTES
SERVE QUANTITY - 3 PLATES
PROCEDURE
Take all the chapatis and grind in mixer. You can make small pieces by hands also. Do not make it as powder. Make small pieces. (Half Grind)
Now put a pan on a burning gas stove with medium flame. Take some edible oil in a pan and heat it. Then drop some mustard seeds in it.
When mustard seeds pops then add peanuts, curry leaves, turmeric powder and chopped onion.
Stir the mixture so that the chopped onion becomes golden brown in color.
Now add red chili powder and again stir it for 1 minute.
Take and add half grind chapatis into this mixture. Add sugar, salt and mix it well. Cover this mixture for 3 minutes o that it cooks well.
You can also sprinkle some water to make it soft and then again cover it by a plate for 3 minutes.
Switch the gas and remove the plate.
Here your churma (phodnichi poli) from left oer chapatis is ready.
Lastly add coriander leaves over churma (phodniichi poli) and serve it with curd or any pickle.
